You will need two appointments for completion of the procedure. The initial appointment
is for assessment and completion of the paperwork. The following appointment is for
the actual procedure.
Nexplanon is a contraceptive implant that consists of a single, small, white to off-white,
flexible rod that is inserted just under the skin on the inside of the upper arm.
