Chaperone Policy

If you need urgent medical advice during surgery hours, please phone the surgery on
024 7664 6750. Please be prepared to give some information to the Receptionist.

Outside normal working hours, weekends and Bank Holidays the surgery is closed and telephone calls are transferred to the Out of Hours Service.
GP Out of Hours Service

Provides urgent medical care when the GP practice with which you are registered is closed. To access this service call 08456 080 275. You will speak to a call handler who will direct you to the most appropriate person to deal with your problem, either a Doctor or a Nurse. If they think you need to be seen you will be invited to attend the Out of Hours clinic which shares the same building as the Walk in Centre on Stoney Stanton Road.

NHS 111 service offers free expert health information and advice 24 hours a day. It can advise you whether you need to go to the nearest A&E (accident and emergency) or if there is an alternative such as visiting an NHS walk-in centre.

 Emergencies & Out of Hours

Call 999 or go to A&E in an emergency. Heavy loss of blood, chest pains and / or shortness of breath, constitute an emergency.
